Remember when you had to save all your work on computer discs [Floppy discs] ? and you actually needed one they were computer currency.  They’re a part of our generation and the fact that some of them still have information on them but life is a cycle. We can reuse what somebody has left towards the future.

Artist Nick Gentry allows you to admire from a distance with the broad brush strokes, the outstanding silhouettes; and admire up close reminiscing the days before the flash drive, with personal descriptions still visible on the discs. The haunting slanted disc eyes implies the idea that us humans are somehow afflicted by the technology revolution so the sense of nostalgia is so strong and en-lighting. Absolutely Amazing.

I salute you GENTRY.
