Lou Dalton is a budding relatively new designer I came across recently and wanted to show everyone.
Lou Dalton’s career began back in her home county of Shropshire when she left school at 16 to take up an apprenticeship in bespoke tailoring and pattern cutting. Lou moved to Italy and worked as a design consultant, a job she would remain in on her return to London, with her clients including the likes of Hamish Morrow and Stone Island.
Lou Dalton was launched in 2005 and has since steadily developed a reputation and gained recognition for its rebellious ‘English’ sportswear.’
Showing little signs of the brands popularity waning each collection has been stocked relatively widely across the UK, Europe and Japan, with collaborative projects like a diffusion line for Topshop and a collaboration with Rodnik taking Lou’s aesthetic to an even greater audience.
